Game Development so far

So far a few adjustments and prototyping has been done. Just marking here the registry of the project 🙂🎮

What is this project by the way?

I am developing a Space Sim game with more subgenres such as Life Sim, Action, Adventure, Arcade, Fight, Exploration and Open-World.

Sounds too broad, but the game is specially a Space Sim. It will also features like planetary exploration, star mapping, travelling around a galaxy plus interdimensional travel.

About the concept

The main focus of the game is exploration and expansion. Since the development is still on-going, the basic features are going to be created, then the development phase will be expanded to the simulation of some simple star systems.

Most of the features are going to be shared with detailed steps taken after prototyping. They will also be tested before demo reels get released to ensure that development phases flow without severe difficult.

The Story will be developed while the project becomes prototyped and tested. To see demo reels, you can access the section "Test" and scroll down to prototypes or demos.

About development, assets and content

This project will be developed using Unity 6. There will be two versions: Lite, Regular and HRR. Since the project will showcase more about features, mechanics and possibilities, quality and perfection are going to be improved with time, but UHD graphics or over-perfectionism are not the main focus of this project.

Most of the assets and content have been or is going to be acquired via either Unity Asset Store, created and curated by other devs / freelancers or generated with AI and enhanced using other tools.

On the first step, one version will be published. After this first version has been optimized, more ideas and features will be created for this same game version.
